Kingdom: Reaching the Unreached

Parkside has adopted an unreached people group. For security reasons we do not post the specific name of the people we have adopted nor their homeland. What is an “un-reached people”?

A unique culture or ethnicity that does not contain sufficient numbers of Christians or churches for any evangelism to take place.  The chances of meeting a Christian believer and hearing of Christ within this group, are nil.  For a much fuller understanding, go to the website for Joshua Project.

Parkside's Adoption Process

Through a 4-year process of prayer and seeking, The Parkside Christian Church determined in January of 2006, to adopt an unreached people group from a region of Africa.  Large pockets of refugees from this group are also scattered in cities around the world, including U.S. cities. Our adopted people are strict adherents of Islam.

What does “Adoption” Mean?

Parkside Christian Church will network with other believers who have a heart for these people, and we will partner in an effort to draw these people to Jesus. This will happen best by planting indigenous churches in their homeland as well as in their home cities of the US. In the meantime, we will seize all the opportunities God is giving us to connect with these unreached people even in our local community.
